Spring Session

Well, the snow might not make the pictures feel as springy as we were going for, but this is North Dakota and there is not a lot you can do!  This little man loved getting his picture taken.  We had never meet before, but that didn't stop him from wanting to get right to work and take pictures.  We took some outdoor pictures and indoor pictures at the University of North Dakota.  In between shots, he was busy asking questions and throwing snowballs!  What a sweety pie.  His cousins join him for a family photo for grandma.....Grandma, I hope you like it ;)

He wanted to make sure he got to stand near the water and perhaps the mud!

He was using his tongue to push around his loose tooth!
He was being funny here!

Adorable Smiles That Make the Winter Blues Go Away!

We had  a photo shoot of this adorable family today. The boy just turned 4 years old and the girl is 6 months old.  They are always lots of fun to photograph.  The boy is so sweet to his little sister.  I hadn't taken pictures of this little girl since she was just a few weeks old! Boy, do they get big fast!

Peyton's Baby Announcements

I created two different baby announcements. As you can see, each has it's own look. I will be excited to see which one they like better. Which one do you like better and why?

Meet Peyton Elizabeth Varnson

So little and precious!

The big brother wanted to help me take pictures!

Today I had a photo shoot with Peyton. She was 2 weeks old today. I couldn't believe the hair that she already had. Her blues eyes were wide open for the entire shoot.

We took a couple different shots and worked with natural lighting. I can't wait to watch her grow. We will be doing more pictures during her first year of life. Today, she squirmed pretty good, considering she is only 2 weeks old!

Her big brother wanted to help. He is use to make taking pictures of only him so today was a new experience for him. He did very well. He even helped me make Peyton smile;)
