Mr and Mrs. Greenwood

A wedding up north....how beautiful it was.  The day started out with more clouds and rain. (I'm hoping that isn't going to be the theme for the wedding season!)  As you will notice in the pictures, the clouds looked like they could rain at any time.  Luckily, it didn't rain until we took the last picture.  The clouds actually made the pictures even more interesting.
This bride and groom had some really neat details that I had never seen before.  First, they had usherettes, instead of ushers. (They are the girls in the silver dresses.)  At the reception, they had a cheese bar outside of the seating area.  Once you entered the seating area, there was even more to look at.  Crazy vegetable and fruit arrangements, a beautiful cake, and lots of yellow colored candy!

Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Greenwood!

Charles and Amy Getsman

Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Getsman!  Even though it rained (actually pouring rain) this couple was still in a great mood.  They started the day off by exchanging gifts. This was so sweet!  They both had to hold back the tears.  Then the moment came where he saw her in her dress for the first time......They both held back the tears again! So so sweet!

Our original plan was to do all outdoor pictures, but that didn't happen! I was able to sneak the bride and groom outside for 5 minutes, just to get a few outdoor shots in between the rain!

E-session for Marla and Jason!

The day started out cold! It look like it could rain at any given moment.....by 3pm, the sun was shining and it was in the high 60's!  Perfect weather for a photo shoot.  The couple told me they were really nervous for they don't usually have their picture taken. I told them to just relax, as I do all my clients.  I said, "I won't overpose you because I want to capture the true boby language between you two!"
Well, they got right into it.  They posed great and looked great on camera!
This couple likes to have more untraditional pictures and wanted something a little different. I worked hard to capture details in an "artsy" way! I thought these turned out great. I can't wait to take their wedding pictures!

3 Adorable Little Cutie Pies!

This family is always fun to take pictures of.  The little ones love to smile for the camera and I really enjoy getting to capture all their facial expressions.  These kids have eyes that tell a story! Mom and dad even jumped in for a family picture.  In order to get all the kids to look at the same time, I pulled out my crazy "happy dance" and played games!  What a wonderful and adorable family!

Charming at 4!

While I was editing these pictures, I couldn't but help notice all of the different expressions that this little 4 year old makes.  First, she definitely knows how to fake a smile now.  She also knows how to work the camera!  When we first meet for pictures, she was a little shy.  As we got going, the shyness disappeared and she started running all over!  It's so much fun to let the child play during pictures and be themselves.  It's not only more fun for them, but it produces pictures that represent their personality!  So So So Much Fun!  I'm very excited the summer photo season is here!
