Winter Session

I do winter sessions but as you can imagine, they go very quick. Even though it was 2o above today, we only took 15 minutes to get a few shoots. This little man is now 3 years old. He has been a lot of fun to photograph for he is full of energy. His family is a lot of fun. I'm always excited to take picture for them!

Scenery From Up North!

I went up north for an overnight trip. Not only did I get to enjoy the company of my sister's family, but I also got to enjoy the scenery. When I left this morning, there was hoar frost on the tree's. The land rolls for miles and miles. The sun was out, but hidden behind the frost. Here is the result. (One of the tree's is my sister's favorite tree. I, for year, have always wanted to capture it with hoar frost. Today was my lucky day!)

This Is Why We Live Up North!

I had 25 minutes between one teacher job and the next. I put my hand held camera in my purse before school. As soon as I was done teaching, I ran out the door, drove really fast, and managed to get some of these pictures in before the my next teaching job. After the quick event, I am more then pleased that I did this. A day so gorgeous and peaceful is great reminder of why we put up with 3 feet of snow and -40 degree weather!

10 Day Old Baby!

This sweet little baby was born 14 minutes before Christmas Eve! We took pictures of her, her very proud big sister, and the parents. She was wide awake for the whole session. She feel asleep for a few minutes and then woke right back up. Baby bottom pictures will be done at the next session. We hope she will be tired.
Big sister is very proud of her little sister. Can you tell? These people are great friends of mine. I really enjoyed getting to go over there and take baby's first photo session! I hope you like them!
